I have ordered 2 of these cards during the past year; the first one completely failed from a Eye-Fi known hardware flaw, which Eye-Fi offered to make right and replace the card, the second card was inoperable on arrival. I thought I had done something wrong with the second card but the Eye-Fi technical support rep confirmed that the card was dead hardware and needed to be returned. Amazon and Eye-Fi were helpful in orchestrating the return - my dissappointment was in getting two failed units out of two purchases. I cannot believe this was random.
