I bought this to go with the Sony DCR-SR47 Hard Disk Drive Handycam® camcorder and it works great. I have burned about 30 copies so far and have had no problems. Been great for making DVD's of my son's youth football games and I have made copies for many parents. All of them have said the dvd's work fine.
