Kingston DataTraveler 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT100/8GB This instant

As a Mac user, I have more than once been frustrated by the slow speed with which Mac OS X writes to Windows formatted USB sticks. A family member of mine had a Windows formatted DataTraveler DT100/8GB stick which we used to transfer some photos from my Mac to her PC. I was amazed at the speed with which my Mac wrote to the stick. I did some research afterwards and found that the DT100 in particular has about a 40% higher write speed than most USB sticks in its class. I purchased one right away, and have been very pleased with it. It is fast, very high capacity, and its retracting USB connector makes it very convenient to carry around. When formatted for Mac OS X, it is without doubt the fastest memory stick I have. Highly recommended.Get more detail about Kingston DataTraveler 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT100/8GB.

Seagate FreeAgent Go 320 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive-Black ST903203FAA2E1-RK Top Quality

Before buying this drive I compared it with other portable drives and read all the reviews on Amazon and even PC Magazine which recommends it as one of its top products. So I thought I could not go wrong but unfortunately everything with this drive has gone wrong. For starters its not 320 gigs but 298 gigs instead which is not how Amazon advertises it. Every back up I have attempted has failed! I have followed the instructions by the letter and it still does not back up any of my files. Technical support is non existent, you have to first register before being allowed to get any type of assistance and then you must go thru these customer forums and post your problem or questions and then wait for and answer from another user?? The customer service number will have you on hold forever. At this point I am trying to return this drive back to SeagateGet more detail about Seagate FreeAgent Go 320 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive-Black ST903203FAA2E1-RK.

Transcend 32 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS32GSDHC6 Review

The writer who gives this product one star is being totally inappropriate. She comments that it is a more cost-effective and a better buy (for her limited purposes with stills) to get a 2GB card.

Those of us who work in AVCHD / HD video need the 32 GB capacity, and for her to trash the Transcend card just because an older 2GB card is more cost-effective for use with stills is irresponsible.

This is a great card. I use it for recording MXP (24Mbps) AVCHD in a Canon HF S10, which is a pretty intensive application, and so far I have not seen any errors at all. I shopped it pretty hard, and found this to be the best buy for the money. Transcend is excellent quality, and the reason I ended up coming back to this page is because I am ordering another one right now. If that says anything.Get more detail about Transcend 32 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS32GSDHC6.
