It will work, for a time. After about 1-2 minutes the connectivity light turns red and will not connect again until I power cycle the hub. I wanted to use this for a usb printer that sits on the other side of a small room. It is less that 10 feet away. After a power cycle, I can print a single document and can see the printer status. For that moment, it does everything as advertised. I got the latest drivers but that didn't change anything.
