Samsung 2333SW 23-Inch Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor This instant

I purchased this monitor in July of 2009. By November, it had developed a vertical row of dead pixels. I had to send the monitor in for repair, which took 2 weeks. When I got it back, it worked fine for 2 weeks and then another row of dead pixels appeared. I didn't want to be without a monitor for another 2 weeks, so I requested a replacement. Beware if you do this, because Samsung has a policy that requires you to exchange your monitor at the nearest UPS facility... they won't send a replacement to your home address unless you agree to let them place a change on your credit card for their inflated value of the monitor (I purchased mine for $150 and they estimated that my credit card would be charged anywhere from $250 to $500 until they received the monitor I was sending back). So anyway, the UPS facility was supposed to notify me when the replacement arrived. Well, they never called. After waiting 3 weeks (during which time my repaired monitor had 3 new rows of dead pixels) I called to find out where my replacement was. It had been shipped out the week prior but they couldn't tell me to which UPS store in my town they shipped it to. So I called the first UPS store only to have them tell me that they don't accept shippments for customers! After insisting they check for me, they did discover it was there (surprise). So that meant I had to carry my monitor from home down to the UPS store and have them open the box that contained my replacement so I could swap them out. That would have been enough already... but there's more.

Since I was feeling very inconvenienced by this whole swapping out situation at the UPS store, I didn't unwrap all the plastic wrap on the replacement monitor. When I got it home I noticed that the finish on the monitor around the screen was ruined. I purchased a new, shinny black monitor 6 months ago. Now they've replaced it with one that looks horrible. I wish I could upload a photo for all to see. I've called and complained but their solution is to send me another replacement. So I guess it's back to the UPS store in 2 weeks. This will be the last Samsung product I purchase.Get more detail about Samsung 2333SW 23-Inch Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor.

LaCie itsaKey 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 130873 Immediately

This LaCie "itsakey" drive is very sturdy, well made...metal appears to be stainless steel, although I expect it's not...
It's larger than I expected, about the size of an old fashioned large house key...
I keep it on my key chain with my car keys...
I got the 8 Gb version...holds everything I need...
This is a good drive, I don't think you will be disappointed...Get more detail about LaCie itsaKey 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 130873.

Logitech X-240 2.1 Speakers (Black) Best Quality

Plug it in, connect to your computer or MP3 player, turn it on - decent quality sound comes out, and that was all I was looking for. It doesn't take up much room on the desktop, the cables are long enough to allow me to place all the components in convenient places, and the sound quality is good enough for me (at age 61, my hearing may not allow me to notice any sonic shortcomings).

My only comment is the cheesy MP3 player "holder" on the control unit. It's not a real dock, it's a little platform that you can rest the player on, and there are little adapters that let you attach the player cable so the player can charge or sync while it's sitting on the platform. You'll need to plug the speakers into the player's headphone jack. At this price point, perhaps a real dock isn't possible.Get more detail about Logitech X-240 2.1 Speakers (Black).
